Breeding programme
This species have many names in English including more frequently used Omei Babbler and Emei Shan Liocichla. We usually prefer to refer to “Omei Shan Liocichla” linking the scientific name (Liocichla omeiensis) with its famous origen of the sacred Mount Omei in China as well as the term Omei also used in other European languages.
